Engineering for Your Classroom (Grade 6 and 7 Teachers)

2014 Engineering for Your ClassroomTeachers are experts at connecting lessons to everyday life, and bringing their classrooms into the world.  Engineering is about applying science to everyday life, connecting theories and practice.

Join us on Friday, October 21 to test out three PLO-related engineering activities that you can use in your Grade six or seven classroom to help create the connection between science and society.  Leave with ideas, inspiration, and free supply kits.

We will have 3 brand new activities this year!

Time: 8:30am Registration and Coffee | 9:00am – 3:00pm*

Location: UBC Vancouver Point Grey Campus. Fred Kaiser Building Room 2020/2030.

Cost: Free!  Coffee, lunch and a 30-student supply kit for each activity are included.

Registration: Please fill out the below form to register. Registration is only open to Grade 6 and 7 teachers. Registration closes on October 17 or when the event is full.

*Note that supply kits will only be distributed at the end of the day, after evaluations.
