Girls Only Maker Camp

We’re excited to announce we will be partnering with Geering Up to deliver a spring break camp for girls in grades 5 – 7. Join us March 14-18 for hands-on science and engineering. This camp will focus on the engineering design cycle. Each day we’ll be building something new, as we sample the disciplines of engineering. Be ready for things to get messy!

Dates: March 14 – 18, 2016

Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm | After Care available 3:00 – 4:00pm

Location: UBC Vancouver Point Grey Campus

Cost: $200 – This cost covers 5 days of science, engineering and fun as well as a camper t-shirt and a pizza lunch on Friday!

Registration: Register online here. Registration is only open to Grade 5 – 7 girls*. Registration closes when the camp is full.

* If you have a boy that is interested in similar programming, we highly encourage you to explore other Geering Up and UBC Engineering events. As well, please be aware that we have an inclusive view of the word “girl” and we welcome trans*, genderqueer and non-binary folks interested in the workshop.
